Overview

Pilanesberg National Park is one of the most fascinating Big 5 game reserves located 2.5 hours’ drive from Johannesburg, and is also the most accessible being in a malaria free environment.

Pilanesberg is the fourth largest national park in South Africa and covers an area of 55 000 hectares. It is home to a wide variety of southern Africa’s animals like; the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, leopard, buffalo and lion), cheetahs’ giraffe’s, zebras, hyenas, wild dogs’ crocodiles, antelopes, and some 300 bird species to name a few.

This is a thrilling experience to view wildlife in their natural inhabitant, with the presence of professional rangers who will share their extensive knowledge about the park’s fauna and flora throughout the safari.

ITINERARY

• Early morning pick up at your residence in Johannesburg, 2.5 hours shuttle to Pilanesberg National Park.
• 3 hours morning game drive in an open safari vehicle, exploring the various fauna & flora.
• Lunch. (included)
• 3 hours afternoon game drive, in an open safari vehicle, continue exploring the game reserve.
• Shuttle to Johannesburg, 2.5 hours drive.
• Drop off at your residence.

This tour will require a minimum of 2 passengers to commence, extra charge may apply for single travellers.

• Each safari takes approximately 3 hours.
• Please wear weather appropriate clothing.
• Avoid bright colours for the safari.
• Please bring sunglasses, sunscreen and hats.
• Bring extra cash (souvenirs, drinks etc.)
